We grow a variety of indigenous trees and hedge plants, as well as a few exotics.
Our plants are all grown in containers (for easy handling) in the open, exposed and acclimatized to Cape Town�s ever-changing weather conditions.
Our growing medium is totally organic, a healthy combination of good quality soil, well rotted compost and a measure of bonemeal for natural fertilizing. Proof of our organic approach is the variety of reptiles, insects, birds and small mammals who have made our nursery their home.
Over the last 12 years, we have supplied trees and shrubs to a number of well-known landscapers and landscape architects in the Cape Town area, as well as private housing developments, government housing projects, golf estates, hotels, shopping centres and even for the opening of Parliament. We have also started supplying trees as far afield as Gauteng and Natal.
In 2002, the nursery was expanded by 5000 square metres, and then again by another 5000 square metres in 2006, bringing the total size of our nursery to approximately 16000 square metres. This enabled us to grow a larger variety of trees in a bigger variety of container sizes.
We currently have stock of �14 000 plants making us the largest nursery in Hout Bay and among the largest in the Southern Peninsula (Cape Town).
We do deliver to both Northern & Southern suburbs. Contact us for delivery rates. Rates vary according to distance and size of order.
